ClearAED
The Ballyporeen & Skeheenarinky Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Project (shortened to ClearAED for the course of this site) was set up with the aim of raising enough money to purchase two Defibrillators for the parish and train numerous local people to a high standard in using these medical devices.
Ballyporeen & Skeheenarinky is a community enriched with the talent of music, and local artists have rallied together to record a number of songs which were reproduced on a cd to help benefit the fund. One of the most talented young artists on the Irish music scene to date, Gemma Hayes whom hails from Ballyporeen has also offered her services which will no doubt help with the fund raiser.
This most anticipated CD 'Clear' was released in February 2007.
